| I have put this site here for anyone that is just tired of walking the same treadmill every day in the United States or North America. For anyone that wants to escape the life of loans and their regular 9-5, and go a different direction. My family of 5 and I did just that for probably the same reasons you are looking at this site now. I believe in being very honest so I will tell you the reasons we left the States: recession/failing economy, weakening dollar, prices of everyday goods going through the roof, GAS PRICES, energy prices, taxes going to unlawful wars, getting the kids away from a culture of greed, unhealthy gmo foods, unaffordable organic foods, little by little losing our fundamental rights, crumbling housing market, not wanting to throw money away on rent, being able to have my money and my time. We came to Margarita Island, Venezuela. My wife and I worked in the US building custom homes for people, we foresaw the housing market collapse and pulled all of our money out of the homes market right in time before the bubble broke. We looked all around the world for the next spot that was undervalued that will be going way up in value, livable and safe for a white american family. I thought it might be Thailand but they seem to get alot of natural disasters, not as safe as I wanted for my family, and there you are always a foreigner. Then I decided to look in the largest tourist destination in the world, the Caribbean, but I did not want to be wiped out by a hurricane and with a little research I found that there are just a few islands in the Caribbean that are hurricane free as they are below the hurricane belt; way below. Those were Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Margarita Island, and Trinidad Tobago. Aruba had already gone up in value so it was too expensive and a we bit dangerous, Bonaire and Curacau are great but they are expensive and did not have the infastucture my family needed. Trinidad Tobago are too expensive for what they are and are pretty dangerous. That left Margarita island, I looked into it and saw some interesting things, 70% cheaper then the rest of the Caribbean, no taxes, very safe, the cheapest gas in the world literally 4 cents a gallon. all produce by law is organic, no hurricanes, rising property values, all the infastucture and amentities that the US has, filthy cheap electric bills, and here you are not always a foreigner because venezuelans come in all shapes, sizes, and colors . With those gas prices i can afford to have boat and run it too. Cost of living here is so cheap you simple would not believe me. Huge business oppertunities. Good schools for our kids and I was sold. We came here 2 years ago and haven't looked back since, we feel much more free here then we ever did in the states. I will get further into all of this as you go through our site. If you do not see the property you are looking for on our site contact us Because most likely we can find it for you, we have a lot of developers and agents we work with here on the island. We do not add anything on top of the price of a property we sell at local rates, we only make money from the seller on a commission basis.
